APTOS seminar: Telemedicine and Covid-19

The Asia Pacific TeleOphthalmology Society (APTOS) is launching a monthly webinar series on how telemedicine transforms clinical practice.  

 

The first session will run on 12 June (Friday) from 8-9pm (GMT+810pm AEST or 12am on 13 June NZST). It will focus on how teleophthalmology is being practiced in different parts of the world and especially in the Asia-Pacific region in the wake of Covid-19.  

 

Dr Alarcos CiezaWorld Health Organisation coordinator for blindness and deafness prevention, disability and rehabilitationwill introduce the first webinar, featuring Professor Tien Wong, current medical director of the Singapore National Eye Centre, who will share insights into how teleophthalmology is becoming the new normal in today’s world.
