The Captiv8 Share app has been made available to all clinicians worldwide, free of charge, to help reduce chairside discussion time and enhance telemedicine consultations.

Using the app, clinicians can share high quality patient education, such as animations explaining eye conditions and surgeries, allowing doctors providing eyecare services through telemedicine to better explain conditions to patients safely, said Captiv8’s manufacturer Optimed UK

Patients can view animations on any device and the app is easy to usewith patient data deleted from the service provider’s servers once the content is sent, ensuring patient confidentiality and data protection regulations are adhered to, the company said

Captiv8 Share is an iPhone/iPad app available on the Appstore and Google Playstore for Android devices.
