Bellinger’s Entourage of 7, designed in LA and handmade in Japan, has released a new collection. “The attention to detail is beautiful. This can be seen in the way the titanium is integrated into the acetate and the detailing on the needles inside the temples,” said Euro-Optics’ Carl Doherty, who met up with Entourage of 7 founder and lead designer Jakob Talbo at Mido earlier this year. “Jakob also shared a story on how he had met Tom Hank in a store, had a chat and was able to design and make a frame for him.”

Furla

Furla’s new 2019 summer collection offers eye-catching shapes and fun popping colours. One of the new range’s most distinctive features is the use of bright, shimmering glitter-effect acetate in pastel and powder hues. The acetate and metal frames and the thin round styles have a double-coloured rubber detail matching the temple tip.

ProDesign Denmark

ProDesign Denmark’s new spring 2019 collection is defined by flattering shapes and colourful acetates utilising innovative materials such as CXT, titanium and various metals. The collection is designed for everyday use, said ProDesign Denmark’s eyewear architect Martin Jespersen. “The look encompasses concepts of comfort and design, classic yet surprising”. The beautiful model featured here is inspired by an iconic piece of jewellery, the “Moonlight” by Danish silversmith Georg Jensen. 

Silhouette

Silhouette’s latest innovative model is the Titan Dynamics Colourwave Accent Rings, building on last year’s Titan Minimal Art Accent Rings. The range is available in 10 shapes and colours, while the lens ring is available in 12 different colours allowing wearers to customise their eyewear.

Ogi Eyewear – Bon Vivant

Ogi’s Bon Vivant line has released four new stunning frames, offering very different yet elegant styles. The Constance model in crystallized acetate incorporates intricate floral details throughout the horn and is available in clear and translucent shades of purple, grey and pink with gold details. Model Octavia also offers intricate details on the horn and comes in a soft colour palette in frosted glass-like tints contrasting the metal temples. Available in blue, sapphire green, white and dusty pink.
