The practice opened in 2010 and has shown exceptional growth and profitability. A second testing room will be ready early 2020 to take advantage of further opportunities in one of New Zealand’s fastest growing regions.

In partnership with the Retail Joint Venture Partner, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Specsavers store, whilst leading your team to provide customers with the highest standards of service and eye care.

Optometrist - Christchurch

This is a rare opportunity to join our fantastic Anstice team! Potentially one of the busiest practices in Christchurch, we pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our patients. The role can be either full-time or part-time.

With 50 years of serving the community with specialty eye care, we enjoy seeing both children and adults. Well equipped with modern technology including OCT, and with special interests in Schoolvision, myopia control, contact lenses, OrthoKeratology, Irlen diagnostics and brain injury.

Experienced optical assistant wanted

Full-time experienced optical assistant wanted for a busy Manawatu town practice. We are an easy 20-minute commute from Palmerston North in the town of Feilding.
We need a vibrant, motivated person with good computer skills and able to interact in a comfortable way with patients and other staff members. A good sense of humour would be a definite plus.

Wanted: FULL-TIME OPTOMETRIST Eyes on Broadway, Palmerston North

We have a position available for an enthusiastic and passionate optometrist to join our independent practice. The position is full-time (though part-time may be considered) and involves no weekend work!

We are a clinically focused practice with a strong focus on contact lenses, diabetic retinal screening and myopia control. Therefor, we are wanting someone with an interest in RGPs including sclerals, ortho-k, myopia control and diabetes management. We are well set up with OCT, camera, SMap for scleral fittings, Medmont field screener and topographer.


You will work alongside two experienced optometrists who can provide support if needed. A comprehensive package is available.

Very flexible position. Choose 3 to 5 days testing a week, so you can make the most of living in one of the most exciting places in the southern hemisphere. 30-minute testing with all pre-screening (OCT, visual fields, auto-refraction and tonometry) performed on all patients by an experienced and motivated team of support staff. Career progression, with the possibility of partnership. APC, CPD and PI insurance.
