The Australasian College of Optical Dispensing (ACOD) is Australasia’s largest independently owned training provider. Established in 2015, the college has quickly become the number one choice for Optical Dispensing training across New Zealand and Australia.

ACOD delivers the industry accredited HLT47815 Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing New Zealand course, through a combination of online and face to face training. Throughout the duration of the course, students will learn theory and practical skills and attend four separate workshops of four days each in Auckland. The course is currently available and open for enrolment throughout the year, with the flexibility to structure learning across an 18 to 24 month program.

The Australian College of Optometry (ACO) offers a comprehensive education program to support optometrists to maintain and improve their professional knowledge and skills in order to provide the best possible care for patients and their communities.

The ACO’s flagship programs include extended certificate courses in ocular therapeutics; public health and leadership in eyecare; children’s vision; glaucoma; and contact lenses. All 5 certificates are offered on-line and are suitable for optometrists at all stages of their career. The ACO also offer online seminars (Members only), clinical workshops and one-day Therapeutics Refresher course.

ACO Certificate course are accredited for CPD points with ODOB.
