Third-year students at Nantes Atlantique School of Design, France, were tasked with creating eyewear for the future and came up with six innovative concepts.   

Can you imagine inheriting glasses from your nana, like a piece of jewellery or a watch? Handcrafted with stainless steel and wood and designed to combat waste, customisable model Legacy is made to last generations. Another clever and comfortable idea, Pillow glasses are made with padded recycled clothing. These comfy specs will let you listen to music comfortably while wearing your headphones or lie down sideways on the couch and watch telly, or exercise without your glasses falling off. For the festival-goers, model Highlight is made entirely of recycled plastics, offers different tints and glows brighter the harder you dance.
