RANZCO NZ 2022: the details

• The RANZCO New Zealand Branch Annual Scientific Meeting is a hybrid (in-person and virtual) conference running from Friday 22 to Saturday 23 April 2022 in Blenheim
• A registrars’ training day will be held on Thursday 21 April from 12.30–5.30pm
• The scientific meeting and ophthalmic nurses conference will be hosted at adjacent venues, the Marlborough Events Centre and the ASB Theatre in the Covid red light setting
• The meeting is friendly and informal; no tie required
• The programme includes three plenary sessions and concurrent sessions for ophthalmologists and nurses. Sessions are typically five to 30 minutes with longer times allocated for keynotes speakers. Each session is followed by Q&As
• All delegates (attending in person) must have a My Vaccine Pass. Face coverings are strongly encouraged

• Welcome functions are being organised for delegates from each venue. For the ophthalmologists this will be held on Thursday 21 April from 5.30-7.30pm in the sponsors' area at the Marlborough Events Centre
• The popular conference dinner is back for ophthalmologist delegates (plus one) on Saturday 23 April at 7.30pm at the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre
