Top salary offered to attract optometrist to Emerald in Australia's outback

Specsavers is offering a record AU$250,000 salary package for a senior optometrist role in Australia, the largest ever offered by the company.

“With the current global environment mixed with a competitive market industry, we wanted to offer professionals great benefits to relocate,” said Raj Sundarjee, Specsavers director of professional recruitment ANZ. “We also want them to feel valued by offering a generous remuneration with an experienced retail support team and established patient database to ensure we set them up for success.”

The position, located in Emerald, regional Queensland, offers more than double the salary of a metropolitan practice.
