Simon Pegg

‘Shaun of the dead’ actor and screenwriter, Simon Pegg has sectorial heterochromia iridium, with a portion of his right iris a different colour to the rest. Pegg, whose heterochromia is congenital, refers to his eye condition as “slightly mutanty.”

In an interview for the UK variety show he explained to the audience what ‘sectorial heterochromia’ was – “my eyes are mostly blue-grey but in the right eye, I have a flash of brown.” Someone from the audience replied, “the big name makes it sound very impressive, but when you described it, it sounded really dumb.”
