Parker & Co’s Teed St location in the heart of Auckland’s Newmarket shopping precinct

Newmarket style icon Parker & Co is Matthews Eyecare group’s latest acquisition, in a joint venture with Matthews’ optometrist Jas Kamboj.

“This iconic practice, located in an equally iconic New Zealand shopping area, is a perfect complement to our existing practices,” said Matthews CEO Michael Cochrane. “We are honoured to continue the legacy of Lynne and Geoff Parker, who have created and continued to build one of New Zealand’s best independent practices. We will maintain the Parker & Co brand and are excited to retain all existing team members.”

Matthews also acquired Kerikeri Optometrists earlier this year and opened Matthews Sports Vision in Nelson back in September, taking the total number of practices to 24 across the North and South Islands.
